新疆有前途的耐盐栽培小麦“石冬5号”

A Salt-tolerant Wheat of Promise“Sidong-5”in Xinjiang

中国科学院新疆生态与地理研究所培育的耐盐小麦“石冬 5号”除了高度“耐盐”外 ,还具有丰产、抗旱、抗寒等特点。在“硫酸盐”或“氯化物——硫酸盐”类型土壤的盐分含量 1 5g/l时种植“石冬 5号”,生长接近正常 ,保苗面积可以达到 85% ,产量可以达到 30 0 0—— 3750 kg/ha;在含盐量小于 1 0 g/l的盐渍化的上种植 ,产量可以达到 450 0—— 60 0 0 kg/ha。“石冬 5号”新疆南北农区盐渍化地种植 ,发展速度很快 ,到 1 999年为止 ,种植面积超过 1万公顷。

The salt-tolerant wheat “Shidong-5” which has been bred by Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, can be planted in salinized soil. This wheat has good characters, such as salt-tolerance, high yield, drought-tolerance, cold proof and so on. The“Shidong-5”can grow on the soils of “sulphate”or “chloride-sulphate” edaphic types, in salinity content at 15g/l rate, its growth can approach normal, its seeding area can reach 85%, and yield can reach 3000-3750kg/ha. If the wheat is planted in the salinized fields of salinity less than 10g/l, the yield can reach 4500-6000gk/ha. The “Shidong-5” has be planted in the saline fields of north and south in Xinjiang, It expands soon, and its plant area had been beyond ten thousand hectare in 1999.
