Washback Effects of PETS on Higher Vocational English Learning

反拨作用是指语言测试对教和学产生的影响。基于语言测试反拨作用的理论,文章从学生学习的角度,采用问卷调查和访谈的研究方法调查了全国英语等级考试(PETS)对高职高专英语学习产生的正面反拨作用和负面反拨作用,以期对考试内容和组织形式改革有一定的参考价值。

Washback is the effect of language testing exerted on teaching and learning, which can be positive and negative. On the basis of the theories of language testing Washback, this paper, from the perspective of learners and learning, explores both the positive Washback and negative Washback of PETS on higher vocational English learning by questionnaire and interview, in orer to give some suggestions on the innovation of PETS content and implementation.
