A study on Incidental Vocabulary Acquisition in Writing Task Based on the Involvement Load Hypothesis

摘要 "词汇附带习得"是指学习者在从事某些语言活动时,将注意力集中在理解意义和言语所传达的信息上,并在此过程中不经意地习得了词汇。"投入量假设"理论认为,投入量越大的任务越能促进词汇的附带习得。文章基于"投入量假设"理论,对写作任务与词汇附带习得之间的关系进行了研究。 "Incidental vocabulary acquisition" refers to learners are focused on something other than word learning itself."Involvement Load Hypothesis" predicts that the greater the involvement loads,the better the retention.Based on the "Involvement Load Hypothesis",this paper investigates the correlation between writing task and incidental vocabulary acquisition.
