This paper reviews the research of thermoluminescence radiometry technique in radiological diagnosis, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation therapy, and introduces the research purpose, methods and results of thermoluminescence radiometry technique in different kinds of medical exposure. The research objects include not only patients and clients, but also radiation medical practitioners. The thermoluminescence radiometry technique has unique advantages in medical radiation dose research, which will play a more important role in medical radiation dose research in the future.
