门诊糖尿病患者居家医疗废物处置情况调查及护理干预

Investigation on disposal of domestic medical waste in diabetic patients and nursing intervention

目的了解门诊糖尿病患者如何处置自身产生的医疗废物并提出干预措施。方法向102例门诊糖尿病患者发放自行设计的调查表,针对其存在的问题进行教育干预。结果不了解医疗废物的危害性、医护人员的健康教育存在盲点、对居家糖尿病患者产生的医疗废物缺乏有效管理是门诊糖尿病患者随意丢弃医疗废物的主要原因。经针对性教育干预后,患者随意丢弃医疗废物的现象显著改善(P<0.05)。结论医务人员在指导患者进行胰岛素注射及血糖仪操作时,应加强对注射针头及采血针等医疗废物处置问题的风险教育和管理,这对防止利器刺伤患者、避免污染环境及传播疾病具有重要意义。

Objective To explore the disposal of domestic medical waste in diabetic patients and to propose the related nursing intervention.Methods 102 diabetic patients in the outpatient department were investigated by the self-designed questionnaire,and the corresponding education intervention on the existing problems was directly applied for them.Results The main reasons for arbitrary discard of medical waste in diabetic patients were lack of understanding of dangers of medical waste,insufficiency of health education for medical staffs and inefficient management of domestic medical waste.Through the targeted education and intervention,the phenomenon of arbitrary discard of medical waste was significantly improved（P〈0.05）.Conclusion When instructing the knowledge about insulin injection and manipulation of blood glucose monitor for patients,the medical staffs should also reinforce the risk education and management of disposal of medical waste such as syringe needle and blood lancet.All these procedures are very important for preventing harm and injury caused by sharp tool,avoiding the environment pollution and preventing transmission of diseases.
