提高县(市)志记述乡镇、集镇的质量

Improving the Quality of Xiangzhen ( Rural Townships)and Jizhen ( Market Townships ) Recordings in County(City) Records

已经编纂出版的新县(市)志书普遍比较重视对建制乡镇的记述,而忽视对集镇的记述。县(市)志书记载乡镇,完全置于区划部分并不妥当,应该单设专卷置于社会部类之后。对集镇的记述,只在乡镇部分简略记述是不够的,同样应该在乡镇卷之后单设集镇专卷予以详记。记载集镇,就是记载农村城镇化的过程,并不是可记可不记之事,而是一部高质量的县(市)志必须应该记载的。

New county(city)records already compiled and published mostly attach greater importance to recordings of xiangzhen (rural townships ) in establishment,while neglecting recordings of jizhen(market townships).It is inappropriate to place recordings of xiangzhen in county( city) records entirely in the administrative division part. A special volume should-be set apart for it after the social category. For recordings of jizhen,it is inadequate to merely record briefly in the xiangzhen part. A special volume on jizhen should be equally placed after the xiangzhen volume to record in details. The objective of recording jizhen is to record the process of urbanization of the countryside,So it is not something that can be recorded or left out at will. Rather it should be recorded in high-quality county( city) records.
