This paper presents the technical measurs adopted in production process for suspension disc toughened glass insulator, including the components of material optimization, the toughening technology optimization, as well as the internal waterpressure test etc..The quality of the insulator was greatly improved. The Statistics analysis of the insulators in service shows that the insulators possess better electrical performance, anti-aging and good stabilization.
