"Dingjun Mountain" and the Chinese Films in Earlier Periods

《定军山》作为中国早期电影的代表作之一,奠定了电影在中国的特殊形式——"影戏"的形成。文章结合当时的社会文化背景,从戏曲在群众中广泛的社会基础、京剧在清末的异军突起、谭鑫培本身的地位、三国戏与早期电影自身的特点等几个方面,阐释了戏曲《定军山》作为中国戏曲电影奠基之作的必然性。

It is inevitable for the Chinese film history to choose ＂Dingjun Mountain＂ as its first film. This thesis connects Chine social and culture background, and then analyses this inevitability from such aspects as distinguishing the feature of the Chine opera, the popularity of the Beijing opera in Qing Dynasty, the status of Mr. Tan Xinpei, the popularity of the opera ＂Roman, of the Three Kingdoms＂ in Chinese history, and the characteristic of the early film.
