The major difficulties and problems newspaper industry faces in less developed areas are： the weak economic base,the laggard economic management system,the low degree of industrialization and marketization,the backward issue work,the small amount of issue work,the low quality of personnel.The method to narrow the development gap between newspaper industry in less developed areas and that in the developed areas is to determine the newspaper industry awareness,strive to maximize efficiency of unity of the two sides,achieve market-oriented operation,vigorously develop distribution channels;and improve the quality of personnel.
