The Assessment of the Control of China's Banking Sector under the Opening-up Condition

银行业全面对外开放后中国银行业控制力究竟是不是被削弱了?本文通过选取19个银行业控制力评价指标,运用主成分分析方法进行实证分析,予以定量评估。结果显示:近几年来中国银行业控制力逐步增强,其中,本国银行业竞争实力提升和对外资银行监管力度加强是主要贡献因素,而外资银行发展速度有所放缓,其控制力总体趋于下降。

Has the control of China's banking industry been weakened since its far-reaching opening-up? The article takes the 19 indicators of the banking industry's controlling power and makes a quantative analysis via principal component analysis.It finds that China's banking industry exerts more and more important impacts in recent years and it's attributed more to the ever increasing competitiveness of the domestic banking and enforcement of regulation upon the overseas banks.The overseas banks development slows down and so does their controlling power in genera.
