对现代金融体系下现金职能与作用的浅析

A Brief Analysis of the Functions and Roles of Cash in Modern Financial System

本文以美元、欧元、英镑、日元等主要货币为例,对现代金融体系下现金在经济往来和金融发展中的职能和作用进行了研究。研究发现,主要货币的现金仍起着贮藏手段、支付手段和世界货币等职能,并且这些职能并没有削弱或萎缩。在此基础上,本文提出应高度重视人民币现金在经济金融发展中的作用,全面分析现金需求,科学评估非现金支付对现金支付的替代作用,不断完善海外人民币现钞的流通回笼机制。

Taking the examples of the world major currencies in terms of Dollar,Euro,Pound,Yen,the article studies the functions and roles of cash in economic dealing and financial development under modern financial system.It finds that functions in terms of means of storage and pay ment and world currency still work and have not been weakened or compromised for the cash of major currencies.On this basis,the article argues that RMB in cash should be give priority in the development of economy and finance.The mechanism of circulation and withdrawal of overseas RMB cash should be further improved by making a comprehensive research and assessment on cash demand and the replacement with non-cash payment to cash payment
