摘要 In order to improve students’reading ability and to cultivate their interests to English,teachers should help their students acquire more western culture background.This article mainly talks about something about vampire culture which is really fascinating to the teenagers.The vampire legend is a kind of distinctive culture rooting in European countries.It has profound historical and cultural connotation,and its development is closely related to religion and culture.People in different times have different beliefs on vampires.This study aims at making more students understand vampire culture,arousing their interest on western culture,and at last,learning to take the right attitude towards people of lower-level in society.
