Discussion on Catalogues of the Chorography in China

通过对目前具有代表意义的地方志目录《中国地方志综录》、《中国地方志联合目录》、《中国地方志总目提要》、《稀见地方志提要》及《中国古籍善本书目》、《续修四库全书总目提要》、《北京图书馆古籍善本书目》和《北京图书馆藏普通古籍总目》中的方志部分进行分析和探讨可以看出,其在编纂和著录体例以及考订和著录的准确性方面各有优劣。因此,我们应从地方志的排序,地方志书名、责任者、版本的著录,内容提要的纂写等方面入手,找到编纂地方志目录更为科学、合理的体例。

By analyzing and discussing the chorography part of typical chorography catalogues in China, such as China Chorography Mechanized Transcription, China Chorography Union Catalogue, China Chorography General Catalogue Abstract, Rare Chorography Abstract, and Bibliography of Chinese An- cient Rare Books, General Catalogue Abstract of the Sequel of Si Ku Quan Shu, Bibliography of Ancient Rare Books in Beijing Library, General Catalogue of Beijing Library Collection of Ordinary Ancient Books, we could find that each catalogue has its own advantages and disadvantages in the compiling and the description style, and in the accuracy of the textual researching and recording. Therefore, we should start with the chorography sorting, the description of the chorography title, author, editon, the writing of the abstract, and so on, in order to find a much more logical style of catalogues of the chorography.
