摘要
本文评析当代恐怖小说大师斯蒂芬·金的成名作《魔女嘉莉》,主要涉及恐怖元素嬗变、多角度故事讲述、跨文类书写和文学视觉化实践四个维度。论文深入揭橥这部诞生于全球化和视觉文化语境中的长篇小说的后现代主义特征,检视作者在新的文学观念下对后现代日常生活的恐怖书写及其对恐怖小说当代转型的实验,从而找到理解风靡全球的"斯蒂芬·金现象"的有效理路。
This essay analyzes the current most well-known horror fiction master Stephen King's first famous novel called Carrie, mainly to discover its exploitation in such four dimensions as the transformation of the elements of horror, the diverse narrations of the story, the trans-genre writing, and the practice of literary visualization. It reveals deeply the postmodern characters of the novel in the situation of the globalization and visual culture, examines the author's horror writing of the postmodern everyday life and the experiments of the contemporary transformation of horror fiction, and thus finds out some effective approaches to understand the global "Stephen King Phenomenon".
