When I＇m asked where I＇m from, 1 sometimes answer, ＂Madison, Wisconsin, in the USA, known for itscows, milk, cheese and ice cream.＂ Other times, I say I＇m from Dalian, China, from where all those sea cucumbers come. That is because I was born in Dalian but moved to the US as a child, Even though I loved my strawberries and cream, I missed the salty breakfasts generally served in China.
如果有人问我，我是哪里人，有时候我会说，我来自美国威斯康辛州的麦迪逊，那里出产牛奶、芝士和冰激凌；也有时候我会说，我来自中国的大连，那里盛产海参。我在大连出生，很小的时候就随家人移居美国。尽管我很爱草莓和奶油，但我也很想念那咸味的中国早餐。
