摘要
满足读者需求,是高校图书馆文献资源建设的根本目的。美国加州大学圣塔芭芭拉分校(UCSB)图书馆采取读者决策采购的理念,进行了在信息素养课程中嵌入学生选书项目的创新尝试。通过介绍分析UCSB读者决策采购与信息素养课程整合的动因、方式、实施策略、取得的效果及存在的问题,提出我国大学图书馆应寻求支持与合作,探索试行读者决策采购与信息素养课程整合,拓展学生读者参与馆藏建设的方式。
Meeting the patrons' need, is the goal of collection development in university library. The University of California, Santa Barbara Library took the idea of patron-driven acquisitions, and used library instruction sessions as collection development opportunities. This paper introduces of motives, methods, strategies, effect of this model, which integrates outreach efforts with collection development and information literacy courses. On this basis, the paper proposed that domestic university libraries should seek the support and cooperation, explore on integration of patron-driven acquisitions and information literacy courses and expand the students' participation on collection development.
