Togetherness:A New Anthropological Perspective with a Cultural Turn

人类学家有责任对文化从深层次去思考,并应承担起一种学术的责任,将文化真正当作文化去加以研究。要从原来西方将文化的发展引到一个尽头的状况中拉回来,重新思考中国文化在此基础之上该如何发展。任何文化都会有底色。西方文明的文化底色是一种理性的成长。文化转型体现在各种形式的以理性为基础的社会与文化的支配上。其后果是在于我们的心不在一起,或者我们的情感不在一起,我们的学术不在一起。与一种分离技术相背离,切实需要告别反思、拒绝批评与消解权力,由此而达致真正的和而不同的在一起。

Chinese anthropologists should seriously think about culture and study culture with an academic responsibility. They should not only follow the researches by Westem scholars but reconsider how Chinese culture could develop with such a basis. All cultures have their foundations while the foundation of Western culture is a kind of rational growth. Cultural turn finds expression in various forms of social and cultural controls with reason as the foundation. The result is that we are separated spiritually or emotionally or aca- demically. Thus, we should seriously think about how to accept criticism and how to dissolve power in order to get rid of the separate-ness technique and realize a real togetherness with different features.
