The key design points,performance index and economic benefit analysis for the first walking beam slab reheating furnace with three-row cloth in China are discussed.The reasonable application of regenerative combustion technology and external pulling type regenerative burner is described,and the technology strategies of ensuring the capacity,improving the heating quality and realizing the complicated process control are proposed.The practices show that the application of regenerative combustion technology on slab reheating furnaces is reasonable and effective,which can achieve the purposes of high efficiency,high quality,energy conservation and consumption reduction.
