摘要
针对英语广泛传播和在语言生态系统中的霸主地位对各个领域的深刻影响,从生态语言学这一全新的视角出发,通过探讨英语通用的进程,辩证地分析了英语通用对语言生态环境的正面和负面影响。得出结论:可以在维系语言生态平衡保护各种语言存息的同时,肯定英语通用的积极意义。
According to the wide spread of English and its dominate position in language ecology,from a brand new perspective——ecobiolinguistics,through exploring the development of English used as lingua franca,both positive and negative influences concerned are studied,and a conclusion is obtained： English as lingua franca and sustainability of many languages can coexist.The key point is to maintain the balance between language dominance and linguistic sustainability,and its positive significance is affirmed.
