Re- viewing Tao Xingzhi＇s ＂Life is education＂ theory and understand- ing its rich connotation and practical meaning are of great guiding and significance towards the current development of school edu- cation. In the new period, school education should regard the student as subject, and enhance students＇ life ability in a com- prehensive way.
