A Brief Discussion on How to Improve the Effectiveness of English Classroom Teaching in Rural Schools

分析了目前农村英语教学的现状:地区发展不平衡、教学方式方法单一、师资水平欠缺、硬件设施跟不上等问题,并提出了一些改进措施:平衡区域发展、多种教学手段结合、增强师资、改善硬件软件建设。最终实现"以人为本"的教育理念。

This paper firstly analyzes the current situation of Eng- lish teaching in rural areas： unbalanced regional development, dull teaching methods, the lack of teaching staff and poor hard- ware equipment, and then proposes some improvement measures： balanced regional development, the combination of various teaching methods, enhancing teaching staff and improving hard- ware construction. The ultimate goal is to realize the people-ori- ented teaching concept.
