遗传工程的分子技术于本世纪 70年代问世。这一技术的创新使人类与医学遗传学突飞猛进 ,由此导致遗传医学的飞速发展。与此同步 ,医学伦理学兴起 ,临床医学遗传服务与遗传学研究的伦理问题日益成为人文科学关注的核心。世界卫生组织 (WHO)于 1997年发布的《医学遗传学与遗传服务伦理问题的建议国际准则》。探讨我国医学伦理学发展的策略和面临的挑战 ,祈盼适合我国国情的中华医学遗传服务与遗传学研究的伦理准则早日问世。

Molecular techniques for genetic engineering came to the world during 70's.This technical innovation pushed human and medical genetics to advance by leaps and bounds,and hence brought in the rapid progress of genetic medicine.It was also during 70's when medical ethics sprang up.Since then,ethical issues involved in the medicogenetic services and genetic researches have been gradually becoming the core of concerns from the viewpoint of humanities.WHO published in 1997 its “Proposed International Guidelines on Ethical Issues in Medical Genetics and Genetic Services”.This paper discusses the strategy for developing Chinese medical ethics and the challenges we are now facing,hoping to establish at an earlier date our own ethical guidelines for medicogenetic services and genetic researches,which could be much more fit for the practical situations in our country.
