Implementation and evaluation of cross-layer cooperative routing in multi-hop wireless networks

摘要 为了提高多跳无线网络的带宽利用率,引入了辅助节点来帮助其他链路进行数据传输并重新定义了协作式路由的概念。在此基础上,提出了协作式路由算法,并且在实际平台上进行了实验。结果表明,协作式路由能够显著提高网络传输带宽。 To increase bandwidth in multi-hop wireless networks, this paper introduced the helper node to assist other links to transmit packets. It introduced a new concept cooperative routing which contained a routing path and corresponding helper nodes for each link. Based on this, the paper proposed a distributed cooperative routing algorithm and verified it on the real testbed. The results show the distributed algorithm can significantly improve the network performance.
