摘要
基于知识物化型资本品进口贸易检验国际研发知识溢出效应的Coe-Helpman模型无法测度非物化型隐性知识的溢出效应,本文在考虑到C-H模型所遗漏掉的隐性知识变量具有空间相关性的基础上,将其在空间维度扩展为Coe-Helpman-Durbin模型,以囊括国际研发知识对进口贸易所在地的首次溢出效应及其对进口贸易所在地以外其他地区的二次溢出效应。中国31省1996-2010年面板数据的检验结果显示:不仅国际研发知识首次溢出提升了进口贸易所在地全要素生产率,而且二次溢出还提升了其他地区全要素生产率,二次溢出效应高于首次溢出效应。提示中国全要素生产率进步主要源自进口贸易带来的非物化型知识在各省间形成的二次扩散,而非直接进口的知识物化型资本品。
The model constructed by Coe and Helpman can quantify spillover effects of knowledge embedded in imported capital goods. But C - H model cannot quantify spillover effects of tacit knowledge which un - embedded in capital goods. Considering tacit knowledge's nature of spatial dependency which is omitted from C - H model, the paper constructs spatial model named Coe - Helpman - Durbin which can quantify both the local spillover effects and spatial spillover effects to neighbors from imported international R&D knowledge. By using a panel data of 31 provinces in China from 1996 to 2010 year, our test shows that imported international RSd) knowledges have promoted not only local total factor productivity but also neighbors' total factor productivity. And local spiUover effects is greater than spatial spiUover effects to neighbor. It suggests that progress of Chinese total factor productivity mainly comes from the un - embedded knowledge's second spatial spillover among Chinese provinces, not the imported capital goods.
