A Brief Analysis of the Reform in Intensive Reading of English Major

英语精读是英语专业一门重要的课程。它是一门综合性课程,这门课程考查学生各项能力,包括学生英语基本功、文章理解能力、知识归纳总结能力等,所以如何能把这门课程教好显得格外关键和重要。本文分析了当今英语精读教学法存在的问题,然后结合笔者自己的教学经验,提出一些对英语精读课的改革设想。

Intensive reading is an important course of English major.It is a comprehensive course,and it tests all the capabilities,including the basic skills of English,the understanding ability of the text,and the ability of generalization and so on.Therefore,how to teach this course successfully appears very crucial and important.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the current teaching methods of intensive reading,and with the teaching experience of the author himself,the author puts forward some ideas of reform in intensive reading.
