摘要
汽车原型的快速设计和可视化是汽车设计领域的发展趋势。其中,体量是车身造型的一个重要因素,也是造型前期工程硬点参数输入的载体。传统的汽车原型设计工作由于反复修改而存在时间成本高、沟通效率低等问题。提出了一种基于特征语义的汽车原型快速生成方法,以车高、离地间等特征语义参数作为输入,采用半自动的方式生成汽车原型的三维模型,并进行可视化。该方法提出了车身控制面这一概念。控制面在特征语义参数的指导下进行空间平移或旋转变换,并驱动三维模型的变形操作,实现车身的体量特征调整,生成目标模型。基于上述方法思路,实现了一个汽车原型的快速设计系统,针对SUV(Sport Utility Vehicle)这一车型展示了原型设计的过程。
Rapid prototype generation with real-time visualization is a trend of vehicle design, in which the volume is an important factor of car styling. The traditional design process which is time-consuming and inefficient poses a challenge to car-body modeling industry. A rapid method for prototype generation was proposed based on feature semantics. This method took feature semantic parameters as the input, and generated the 3-D model in a semi-automatic way. The concept of control planes was proposed, which was used to drive the deformation of the 3-D model under the control of the parameters of feature semantics. Based on this method, a rapid car prototype design system was implemented for building the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) car models and the results demonstrate the practicability of the method.
