The Intervention And Impact of History of Science on Science Communication: From Contents to Standpoints

本文考察了科学史对科学传播理论与实践的介入及可能产生的影响。一方面,科学史研究内容的拓展和转向使科学传播问题进入科学史的研究视野,其研究成果为科学传播提供理论借鉴,也为科学传播带来丰富优质的内容资源;另一方面,科学史研究立场的变化以及由这些变化产生的新的研究成果,促进了科学传播理论和观念的变化,也影响了对科学和公众的关系的理解。

The paper examines the intervention of history of acience, as the foundation and the core of STS, in the theory and practice of science communication, and the possible contributions of histo- ry of science on science communication. On the one hand, the extending and redirection of history of science have made science communication issues come into its view. Its research results provide the- oretical references for science communication, and bring a wealth of high-quality content resources. On the other hand, the changes of research standpoint of history of science, together with the new research fruits brought by these changes, have changed the ideas and theories of science communica- tion, and affect the understanding of the relationship between science and the public.
