Pragmatic failure is a language phenomenon.It is often caused by cultural differences because every nation has its special cultural and historical heritage in its history.However,language and culture depend on each other.Culture greatly influences language and restricts the understanding of pragmatic meaning.So,English learners have to know more about cultural factors and differences to avoid pragmatic obstacles and failure in cross-cultural communication.
