摘要
翻译不是将语言进行简单的转换,而是包括历史背景、文化传统、作者心理等在内的宽泛的文本转换。本文提出当今翻译学应借鉴西方当代新修辞学的意义理论指导翻译理论、翻译方法,加强修辞意识的培养,提高译者对译文受众、对译语修辞传统和译文话语修辞力量的理解与重视,强调以受众为中心,充分展现译文的修辞力量,以及受众对译文形式的认同感,并采取顺应源语文化的翻译方式影响受众,使其领略不同文化与语言的风采,最终将修辞的力量有效地传达出来。
Translation is not a simple conversion of languages, but a comprehensive transformation of information including historical background, cultural tradition, author mentality, etc. This article advocates the adoption of contemporary western rhetoric in reinterpreting translation theory and translation methods, and also promotes the cultivation of rhetorical awareness. Audience-oriented conception has been emphasized to exert the rhetorical power of the translated articles, which the audience should find be identified with. In addition, in this article, influence of audience from the source language has been addressed with great effort in order to let the audience enjoy the culture and language of the source language, finally an effective conveyance of the rhetorical power is achieved.
