摘要
许多海洋生物、陆生菌类和中草药中都存在环肽,实验证实这些环肽类物质具有抗癌、抗菌、抗病毒、调血压等多种生物活性。环肽往往被认为是低等生物用以抵抗恶劣环境的产物,而人体内也存在如生长抑素、内皮素、尾加压素、黑色素聚集激素等环肽类物质。人体内环肽具有广泛而重要的生理作用(如调节血压,调节激素和消化液分泌等),并在对应病理状态下发挥重要作用。发现与分离人体内环肽类物质,并对其作用及其机制进行研究,可为癌症治疗、高血压预防等提供新思路。
There exist many cyclic peptides in marine organisms, terrestrial fungi and Chinese herbal medicine. It has been shown that the cyclic peptides possess various biological activities, including antitumor, antiviral and antimicrobial activities as well as the function of blood pressure control. Cyclopeptide is considered to be a substance for low grade organisms to resist the harm from bad surroundings. Studies have found that human body also can synthesize cyclic peptides such as somatostatin, endothelin, urotensin and melanin-concentrating hormone. Human cyclic peptides have important physiological functions (such as regulation of blood pressure, hormone secretion and digestive juice secretion) and play an important role in response to conditions of pathophysiological stress. Identification and isolation of cyclic peptides from human and elucidation of the action mechanisms of them can provide new ideas for cancer therapy and hypertension prevention.
