The Heritage and Innovation of Industrial Culture: The Cultural Mission of Vocational Colleges

文化传承创新是高校的基本职能之一。高职院校要实现传承创新工业文化的使命,应加强具有工业文化特点的内涵建设,主动融入工业文化,建设凸显工业文化特征的高职校园文化;积极将工业文化引入课堂,把工业文化纳入到教育教学过程之中,培养具有深厚工业文化素养的劳动者、建设者;开发工业文化资源,创新工业文化,为新型工业化建设提供精神动力。

The heritage and Innovation of Culture is one of the basic functions of universities. In order to achieve the mission of industrial culture, Vocational colleges should focus on the items as foUows： strengthen the connotation construction with the characteristics of industrial culture, integrate the industrial culture vigorously, construct vocational college culture which highlights the industrial cultural identity; merge industrial culture into the classroom and the process of education and teaching actively. We should also attach great importance to cultivating workers and builders with profound industrial cultural awareness, developing industrial and cultural resources, innovating industrial culture and providing the motive power for the construction of new industrialization.
