Primary hypertension is an extremely common cardiovascular disease.Its development will bring damage of heart,brain,kidney and other target organs.In China,the incidence of primary hypertension shows an increasing trend.Hypertension is classified as vertigo,headache,stroke in traditional Chinese medicine.The pathogenesis can be due to deficiency or sufficiency.Deficient syndromes are deficiency of marrow-sea,deficiency of Qi and blood,and orifices failing to be nourished.Sufficient syndromes are wind,fire,phlegm,blood stasis disturbing the orifices.Chinese medicine nursing consists of daily livingcare,emotional care,diet care,acupuncture therapy and so on.In the process of nursing for hypertension,Chinese medicine nursing takes a personalized care and plays an important role in maintaining blood pressure.
