Spread of Western Mass Culture and Its Negative Impacts on Chinese Values

随着经济全球化的发展和新技术的广泛应用,西方大众文化波及整个世界,其所承载的价值观也随之广泛传播,影响着其它国家特别是发展中国家的价值观念。通过对西方大众文化传播优势的分析,着重探讨西方大众文化价值观对中国价值观的影响,既要看到西方大众文化带来的积极作用,也要看到它造成的消极影响,在接受西方价值观的同时,要保持清醒的头脑,有批判精神地对待西方大众文化。

With the development of economic globalization and the wide application of new technologies,the Western mass culture has spread to the whole world,and the values it carries has also been widely disseminated,thus affecting the values of other countries,especially the developing countries.This paper analyzes the advantages of the spread of Western popular culture and focuses on their negative impacts on the Chinese values.People must understand the negative impacts caused by the Western popular culture as well as its positive roles.While accepting its values,people must stay clear-minded and handle it with critical spirit.
