The telecom industry's total business volume of China amounted to RMB 687.02 billion($111.8 billion)1 in the first half year of 2013,up 7.9% from the same period a year earlier and 0.3 percentage point higher than the GDP growth.The revenue showed a 8.9% rise from the year-earlier period,reached RMB 564.26 billion.In addition,the number of telephone subscribers had increased by 58.46 million,to a total of 1449 million.
