The paper presents the importance of cable fire prevention and the designing bases of fire prevention.Besides,it discusses the measures to prevent cable firing by comparing different fire-prevention schemes.As a result,feasible,reliable and money-saving measures are obtained,thus,safe and stable operation of power grid is ensured.
