The hardware structure and the software designing principle of the magnetoresistive compass (MM) based on the magnetoresistive sensor and its application in the navigation of vehicles are expounded,and these methods of compensating and computing to the magnetoresistive sensor's output are introduced mainly when the bodywork is tilt and there is the influence of metal materials.
