A Brief Discussion on the Eco-system Protection of Zoigê Plateau from the Aspect of Developing the Wild Biological Resources

传统意义上的森林保护工作就是针对危害森林的病虫害的治理,现代的保护观念则开始关注森林自身的健康和自我修复机能。若能够充分关注森林保护的非防治性措施,利用生态系统的自我更新和修复机制,从充分利用一切生物资源的观点出发,合理的利用高原的各种生物资源和独特的生态环境,森林保护和生态保护工作则可以得到更多的经济支持,可以把许多生态危机化解在危险到来之前。

Traditional forest protection work is directed toward the control of the plant diseases and insect pests while current forest protection concepts begin to focus on the function of forest self-repair and forest health. If more attention is paid on the non-control methods and use of the self-repair and self-renew function of the forest ecological system, and full use is made of all the biological resource of the forest sys- tem and the unique ecological environment of the plateau, forest protection and cological protection can get more economic support so that many ecological crises can be dissolved before they change into disasters.
