城镇化已经成为一种趋势和必然,城镇化进程在不断推动城市发展、提高人民生活水平的同时,也加速传统文化的消亡与变迁,传统文化保护受到威胁。文化是生活质量和城市形象的标志,社会需要持续的发展,文化是重要的推动力量。社会文明的进步与文化的保护和发展密切相关,保护传统文化是当下社会长期关注和研究的重要任务。根据城镇化特点与当下实际,主要从文化产业、城镇CI、文化教育、人本观、幸福观、生活方式、户外广告、可持续发展等方面进行思考,重在强化文化保护意识,为传统文化保护与发展提供一定的理论和策略,弘扬民族文化精神,以适应和促进城镇化发展需要。

Urbanization, a tendency for social development, is to promote the urban development and im- prove people＇ s life, meanwhile, it is also to change and engenders the traditional cultures as well. Cultures which speed up the social development are the symbol of living quality and the image of a city. The advance- ment of social civilization is closely related to the protection and development of cultures and there is an ur- gent task at present to protect the traditional cultures. In accordance with the current features of urbaniza- tion, the protection of the traditional cultures can be conducted from the perspectives of cultural industry, town CI, cultural education, human - centered outlook, happiness outlook, life style, outdoor advertise- ment, and sustainable development. The emphasis is on the awareness of cultural protection so that the theo- ry and strategies for cultural protection can be put forward.
