中国农村教育收敛分析——基于省级面板数据的实证研究 被引量:7

摘要 借鉴经济收敛理论,对农村教育收敛概念进行严格的定义,并且对农村教育收敛的类型进行分类。在此基础上,选取中国29个省份1993-2010年的面板数据对中国农村教育收敛进行实证检验。研究结果表明:在考察期内,中国农村教育基尼系数呈整体下降趋势,具有明显的σ收敛特征;无论全国范围还是东、中、西部地区的农村教育发展水平呈现稳步上升态势,并且均存在绝对β收敛和条件β收敛。 Learning from the theory of economic convergence, this paper gives a strict definition of the convergence of rural education and elaborates the classification of convergence of rural education on empirical research. On this basis, this paper examines the convergence of China's rural education through the panel data of 29 provinces during 1993 to 2010.It arrives at the conclusions as follows: firstly, the rural education Gini coefficient has shown a downward trend and there is significant σ convergence; secondly, the rural education shows absolute β convergence and conditional β convergence following the rural educational development level steadily improving whether China or eastern China, central China and western China areas.
