On the Maintaining of the Minority Rights from Film “Seediq Bale”

电影《赛德克·巴莱》描绘了上世纪30年代台湾地区原住民反抗日本人奴化统治的"雾社事件"。反思"雾社事件",其根源在于日本人的奴化统治政策、现代文明理念与山地原住民传统族群、社会文化之间的激烈冲突。从赛德克人的遭遇可以看出,在现代社会,维护少数族群的合法权利、保障少数族群文化的传承与发展,既要维持其独特的族群认同和族群文化,又要少数族群主动创新自身文化体系以适应族群存续发展的需要。

The film ＂Seediq Bale＂ depicted the ＂fog community events＂ happened in 1930＇ s which was the Taiwan Residents aborigines＇ final fight against the Japanese enslavement rule. The ＂fog community events＂ reflected the conflict between Japanese colonial enslavement policy of domination, the modern concept of civilization and the traditional culture of the aboriginal communities. From the great suffer of Seediq people, we can tell that in modern times, to maintaining the legitimate rights of minorities and protecting the minorities＇ cultural heritage and development, we need not only to maintain their unique ethnic identity and ethnic culture, but also take the initiative to innovation itself minorities cultural system to adapt tO the development needs of the population＇ s surviving.
