摘要
如何用高质量的多维数据模型准确描述现实世界中丰富复杂的业务模型,是OLAP技术成功的关键步骤之一。本文在分析了标准多维数据模型的缺陷和不足的基础上,提出了一种扩充维度定义的、建立在多维数据库/多维视图基础上的多维数据模型(MDB/MDV),它不仅可以克服原先模型存在的问题,而且有新的功能优势。
How to build high quality multidimensional data model for the complex business behavior is one of the key processes for OLAP.In this paper, the problems in using standard model will be first analyzed . Then an improved multidimensional data model MDB/MDV and its building technique will be introduced . It not only could overcome the problems in previous model, but also has own advantages.
