Deng Xiaoping＇s interest view was the outcome of historic practice and an epoch. It also rectified the later Mao Ze- dong＇s interest view, which unilaterally emphasized political thought, moral and spiritual value and ideology. It has its exclusive charac- ter. It is the unity of material interests and morality and spirit, the unity of effect and motive, the unity of personal interests and collec- tive benefits and the unity of utility and justice.
