Abruption and Mergence in Character Area Segmentation of License Plate

利用牌照图象自身的特征．用基于轮廓投影的分裂算法及基于区域聚类的合并算法实现单个字符的分割，获得了较好的试验效果。

In the article. abruption algorithm based on figure projection and mergence algorithm based on area clustering are used in single character segmentation. Better effects are obtained in the test by applying these algorithms.
