华夏五千年文明产生了大量优秀的作家与作品,但为人们所熟知的却只有在文学史中出现的少量经典作家,如何使其他非经典作家及其作品能重现诗学魅力,为人们所认知,一直是新时期文学史家们思考的问题。美国汉学家宇文所安不囿于中国传统经典认知,在对中国经典文学进行研究时,以唐代经典作家为核心,带动同时期非经典作家的出现,为中国文学史的重写提供了借鉴。

A lot of excellent writers and works were produced during the history of China,but only some of them were classics and well known in the history of literature.So how to reappear the charm of works in the writers of the non-classics has been a question that is thought by the historian recently.when American sinologist Stephen Owen was researching Chinese Literature,he could go beyond the traditional cognition and took the writes of classics in Tang Dynasty as the core,the writers of the non-classics can appear so that their luster can not be covered up.This way affords a salutary lesson for the historians if the history of literature will be rewritten.
