Under the aesthetic standards of ＂political criteria first, artistic standards second＂, the 1950s literature generally has simplistic, formulaic and conceptual tendencies. In the new historical conditions, if people view that period of literary history, they will find with surprise that it was the literature full of a strong romantic passion. And this kind of romanticism highlights the heroes, who are always portrayed as ＂Superman＂, inteUigent and courageous, smart and strong. And they all share legendary ad- ventures in the war, a love story reflecting the ＂revolutionary romanticism＂, and a modern version of ＂coming to her rescue＂ narrative mode.
