The professional personnel education and training in road transportation is a major component in the Guangdong transportation vocational education system, which can improve professional personnel in their profes- sional skills and quality. This article, with presenting the theoretical basis and positioning of modern road transport professional personnel＇ s education and training, proposes to improve management system, establish a new type of education and training, implement the long-term management mechanism, formulate training programs and improve the evaluation system.
