摘要
伴随世界经济一体化,各国之间的联系日益密切,英语多元化现象成为大势所趋。这样的背景,对各国的英语教学都提出了挑战。特别是中国大学的英语教学,则需实现教材体系向教学体系的转化,知识体系向能力体系的转化。为此应更加重视社会语言学的指导作用,改革教学大纲,创新教材内容,扩展教学活动和科研的新视野。唯有如此,我国高校的英语教育才能更具生机,培养的英语人才也才会更具竞争力。
With the emergence of economic globalization, the connection between countries has become more intimate, which makes English education around the world a more challengeable task. English education of universities in particular, needs to accomplish its change from material based to teaching based and from knowledge based to competence based as well That's why we should pay more attention to the directional function of sociolinguistics on English education, reforming teaching syllabus, innovating material content, enriching teaching activities and expanding academic visions at the meantime. Only in this way, can English education of Chinese universities become more dynamic and produce students of more competitive competence.
