Plight and Strategy of New-generation Peasant Workers’Integration into City

随着我国城市化进程的推进,大规模的农村富余劳动力向城市流动。目前新生代农民工已成为城市建设的一支生力军。但是由于城乡二元分割的户籍制度、职业技能缺乏、居无定所、身份认同困难等因素严重影响新生代农民工融入城市生活,由此也衍生了诸多的社会问题,甚至在城市出现了"新二元结构"现象。因此,必须着力解决新生代农民工市民化的种种障碍,使他们真正融入城市,以推进我国城市化进程。

With the propulsion of our country urbanization course, the large-scale surplus rural labor flows to the city. At present the new-generation peasant laborer has already become fresh troops of city construction. But the peasant laborer has been affected gravely to integrate city life because binary partitioned census register system, job skill deficiency, without definite resident and identity difficulty, has derived from lots of social problems, even the the newly binary structure phenomenon has appeared in the city. Therefore, we must make effort to resolve a variety of obstacles to make the new-generation peasant laborer integrating city really and pushing forward our country urbanization course.
