Study on the Problems and Countermeasures in the Teaching of English Vocabulary

从词汇教学过程中存在的问题作为切入点,深入分析在教学过程中产生这些问题的原因,结合词汇教学的原则和学生实际情况,从教学方法、记忆技巧、文化内涵等方面作为突破口,加强对学生词汇学习方法的指导,以其促进学生能形成有效的思维能力,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高词汇教学的效果。

With the problems in the process of vocabulary teaching as the starting point, this paper deeply anal- yzes the causes of these problems. Based on the principle of vocabulary teaching and the actual situation of the students and with the teaching methods, memory skills and cultural connotations as the breakthrough points, the paper suggests that students＇ vocabulary learning methods should be improved so as to enable the students to have effective thinking ability, to stimulate students＇ learning interest and to improve the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching.
