Influences of Low-Carbon Economy on Jiangsu’s Export Trade and Related Countermeasures

江苏是国内第二大出口省份,但其外资加工贸易为主体的贸易模式在低碳经济大背景下面临诸多挑战与发展困境,其高碳类出口产品也将受到国际市场排挤,地区产业空心化风险也日益加剧。低碳趋势迫使江苏出口贸易与产业结构进一步优化升级,但政府和企业必须共同努力,主动实施一系列的低碳可持续发展战略措施。

Jiangsu ranks the second in export among all the provinces in China.The foreign processing trade pattern,its main trade pattern,is now facing many challenges and development difficulties due to the influence of low-carbon economy.The high-carbon export products will be edged out by international markets,and regional industry will face increasingly risks of hollowing out.However,the development trend of low-carbon economy may promote industrial optimization and upgrading of Jiangsu’s export and industrial structure.Therefore,the local government and enterprises should make joint efforts to implement a series of strategic measures for low-carbon sustainable development.
